Telangana RERA project search: what to record
Find the official Telangana RERA search entry point, prepare exact project identifiers and keep unresolved matches separate from verified property records.
Updated 2026-09-17
Begin with the official search form
The Telangana RERA search page reviewed on 17 September 2026 shows separate Registered Projects and Registered Agents options. It also shows fields for the project, promoter and certificate number, an Advanced Search control, and a CAPTCHA. These are observations of the entry form, not confirmation of any project.
Use the official address directly. Before searching, ask the property representative for the exact registered name and identifier they say applies to the home. Keep the project’s marketed name, phase or block and unit details alongside those identifiers so that differences remain visible.
Keep a compact search log
Record which identifier you used, when you checked, and what the portal displayed. If a search returns candidates, compare the identity details carefully instead of selecting the first similar name. Retain the result reference for discussion with the representative or a qualified adviser.
The public form includes a CAPTCHA. Complete it yourself when using the portal. This guide has not submitted a search, tested the result-detail screens or verified an individual record, so it does not provide an invented result walkthrough.
Record the search without overstating it
| What you have | What remains to check | |
|---|---|---|
| Marketing name | Name in the listing or brochure | Exact registered identity supplied |
| Identifier | Certificate/project reference supplied | Match to the relevant record |
| Property | Unit, building, block or phase | Whether the record relates to this home |
| Search | Date and input used | What the actual result says |
| Mismatch | Conflicting names or missing result | Clarification from authority/representative/adviser |
Treat a mismatch as a question
A missing or unexpected result is not, by itself, a legal finding. Check spelling, supplied identifiers and the category being searched, then ask the appropriate party to explain what you should be looking for. Do not invent a record or assume a similarly named entry is the right one.
Ask a qualified local professional how the record fits into the checks relevant to your transaction. This page does not decide registration requirements or exemptions and does not certify title, permissions, build quality or returns.
Use Fia to organise your questions
You can bring a non-sensitive summary of the issue to Fia: for example, “The marketed project name and the reference supplied differ. What questions should I take to my adviser?” Keep identity documents and sensitive financial details out of that summary.
Use the discussion to prepare your next conversation, not to mark an unresolved official-record check complete. The actual portal result and appropriate professional review remain separate from AI guidance.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a completed project verification?
No. This guide describes the observed public search form and a way to record your own checks.
What if I cannot find the supplied project?
Keep the search details and ask the relevant authority, representative or adviser to resolve the mismatch; a missing result alone is not a legal conclusion.
